  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sifted if lumpy
  • 8 oz whipped topping Thawed
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple Drained very well
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped Toasted optional
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Adds texture
  • ½ cup maraschino cherries Chopped and drained

Method

  3. Fold the thawed whipped topping gently into the cheese mixture to maintain its airy volume.
  4. Stir in the drained pineapple, pecans, marshmallows, and cherries so they are evenly distributed.
  5. Spoon the filling into the crust and spread it to create gentle swirls on top.
  6. Refrigerate the pie covered for at least four hours until the filling sets firmly.
