Ingredients

  • 1 ounce triple sec Adds a sweet citrus note
  • 1 ounce spiced rum Provides warm depth
  • 1 ounce gin For botanical flavor
  • 1 ounce apple vodka Enhances the fruit profile
  • 4 ounces cranapple juice Creates the vibrant red color
  • 2 ounces lemon-lime soda For a bubbly finish
  • cherries For garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail shaker For chilling the liquids
  • 1 Jigger To measure the liquors accurately
  • 2 glasses Filled with ice for serving

Method

  1. Add the triple sec, rum, gin, vodka, and cranapple juice to a cocktail shaker to blend the strong spirits with the sweet fruit.
Hands stir dark, thick cherry syrup into a clear glass pitcher filled with brewed tea and sliced lemons.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for twenty to thirty seconds to chill the liquid rapidly until condensation forms on the outside.
  3. Strain the cold mixture evenly into two ice-filled glasses to distribute the drink without splashing.
Hands pour dark red cherry iced tea from a glass pitcher into an ice-filled tumbler, filtering out solid fruit pieces.
  4. Top each glass with one ounce of lemon-lime soda and garnish with fresh cherries to add a bubbly, visually stunning finish.

Notes

Pour the soda directly into the glasses rather than the shaker so it keeps its bubbly fizz intact.
