- Combine the frozen potatoes, broth, cream of chicken, cream cheese, ranch mix, seasonings, and one cup of bacon in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook the mixture on low for five to six hours to tenderize the potatoes completely.
- Stir the mixture well fifteen minutes before serving, then pour in the half and half and cheddar.
- Top individual bowls with the reserved bacon, extra cheddar, and chopped green onions just before eating.
