Ingredients
  

  • 1 salmon fillet (about 680g) Serves 4 people
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley optional, for garnish

  • 1 Pastry brush To spread melted garlic butter over the salmon

Method
 

  1. Place the salmon fillet on a foil-lined baking sheet. Mix the melted butter with minced garlic and brush half of it evenly over the salmon.

  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to distribute all flavors evenly.

  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over the salmon, covering every inch. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the top.
  4. Bake the salmon in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  6. Gently press a fork into the salmon. If it flakes apart and looks moist and glossy, it's ready to eat.
