Ingredients
 

  • 1 salmon fillet (about 680g) - Serves 4 people
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley - optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the salmon fillet on a foil-lined baking sheet. Mix the melted butter with minced garlic and brush half of it evenly over the salmon.

  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to distribute all flavors evenly.

  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over the salmon, covering every inch. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the top.
  • Bake the salmon in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  • Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • Gently press a fork into the salmon. If it flakes apart and looks moist and glossy, it's ready to eat.
