- Cook the pasta according to the package directions, then drain and lay the sheets flat to cool.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, then stir in the seasonings and pasta sauce.
- In a medium skillet or bowl, stir together the ricotta, one cup of mozzarella, parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a half cup of meat sauce in a large baking dish, then layer three pasta pieces, half the ricotta mixture, and one cup of ground meat.
- Repeat the layers once more, then top with the remaining pasta, ground meat, and the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake 10 more minutes until bubbly.
